My Story

I grew up in a German-American household in Teaneck, NJ, with music woven into my upbringing—my father, jazz bassist Martin Wind, sparked my passion early on when he enrolled me in piano lessons at age six with the esteemed pianist Miki Tomita. This strong foundation led me to fall in love with classical and choral music, with Beethoven and the vocal ensemble VOCES8 being major influences throughout my formative years.

My journey continued at Hofstra University, where I initially pursued Music Education, singing under Dr. David Fryling (President of the American Choral Directors Association) in the Hofstra Chorale and Chamber Choirs. However, in 2021 I realized my true calling lay elsewhere. I moved to Pasadena, Los Angeles, and immersed myself in the craft of composition under mentors Martin Davich, Mark Cross, and Mark Browne at the Los Angeles College of Music. After a period of personal reflection and growth, I returned to New York to complete my Bachelor of Science in Music Business with a focus in Music Technology at Hofstra, while also performing in the award-winning eVoco Voice Collective.

Beyond my academic and choral work, I’ve always been an avid gamer—it’s a creative outlet that blends my love for immersive storytelling with high-energy competition. Some of my all-time favorites include Mortal Kombat 9, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Mario Kart, Borderlands 2, and League of Legends. In the summer of 2023, I competed at Las Vegas’ renowned EVO tournament, where I placed 65th in Mortal Kombat 11 playing my favorite character, Kitana.

With a background in performance, composition, and music business, I’m eager to contribute my skills to a major video game studio—be it on the West Coast or in the Tri-State area. My goal is to collaborate with passionate teams (at companies like Activision, Riot Games, Blizzard, and beyond) to create unforgettable musical experiences that bring virtual worlds to life and unite players around the globe. If you’re looking for a dedicated, open-minded composer and collaborator, I’d love to connect and help craft the soundscapes that shape tomorrow’s stories.
